A very rare dining conference side chair, designed by Mario Botta for the San Fransisco Museum of Modern Arts. This unique chair is made of high quality black lacquered metal on a thin metal base, seat and back upholstered in black leather and nicely connected in the back. These chairs were used in the special events space of the museum designed by Botta.
Born in 1943 in Mendrisio, Switzerland, award-winning architect-designer Mario Botta has built an international reputation for striking postmodern public and private spaces that blend classical forms with a postmodern sensibility.
